Sanskrit Verse

यावानर्थ उदपाने सर्वत: सम्प्लुतोदके |
तावान्सर्वेषु वेदेषु ब्राह्मणस्य विजानत: ||


Yaavaan-artha udapaane sarvatah samplutodake
taavaansarveshu vedeshu braahmanasya vijaanatah

English Translation

To the knower of the supreme reality (Brahman), the Vedas are of same use as the water for a reservoir which is flooded in all directions.
