Transliteration

English Translation

Many other brave men who are armed in various weapons and well-trained in battles are ready to sacrifice their lives for my(Duryodhana's) sake.

Commentary & Explanation

Duryodhana is saying to Drona that there are many other warriors like Kritavarma, Shalya, Dussasana, Sudakshina, Bahlika, Shakuni, Bhagadatta in his side who are well-trained in battles armed with various weapons of warfare and willing to die for his sake.

Duryodhana is taking confidence from the fact that his army too has experts on their side, he is also reminding Drona of that fact and boosting his spirit.

A man of fear always focuses on his disadvantages lot more than his advantages, while Duryodhana lists 15-20 strong men on the side of Pandavas he only counts 8 in his own side.
