Chapter 1. Despondency of Arjuna: Verse 25
उवाच पार्थ पश्यैतान्समवेतान्कुरूनिति ||
uvaacha paartha pashyaitaan-samavetaan-kuroon-iti
Commentary & Explanation
After placing the chariot in the middle of battle field, Krishna tells Arjuna to look at all the warriors of Kuru clan assembled on the battle field with the intent to fight the Pandavas.
Krishna is showing Arjuna all those warriors on the Kaurava side whom he has to fight.
Spiritual view: All the enemy warriors are like distractions and delusions which keep the yogi away from self-realization(kingdom), Guru shows his disciple all the obstacles he has to overcome, and the way to overcome them.
